There Is A Fountain

Glory to God, that there is a fountain filled with blood!  Where we can lose all of our guilty stains!  Here is one of my favorite hymns:

There is a fountain filled with blood, Drawn from Immanuel's veins, And sinners plunged beneath that flood, Lose all their guilty stains!  And sinners plunged beneath that flood, Lose all their guilty stains!

The dying thief rejoiced to see, that fountain in his day, and there may I, though vile as he, Wash all my sins away!!!!(Glory, Glory to God Almighty!) And their may I, though vile as he, Wash ALL MY SINS AWAY!!

Dear dying Lamb, Thy PRECIOUS BLOOD, Shall never lose its power, Till all the ransomed Church of God, be saved to sin no more!  Till all the ransomed Church of God, Be saved to sin no more!  (What a glorious day that will be when we will be with our Precious Saviour and dwell no more in this vile flesh!!)

E'er since by faith I saw the stream, Thy flowing wounds supply, Redeeming love has been my theme, and shall be till I die!  Redeeming love has been my theme and shall be till I die!

When this poor lisping, stammering tongue, Lies silent in the grave, Then in a nobler, sweeter song, I'll sing Thy power to save!  Then in a nobler, sweeter song, I'll sing Thy power to save!

It is through his precious blood that we can have all of our sins washed away!

Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 

1 Peter 1:18-23 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 


Have you been washed in the blood of the precious Lamb of God?  

Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 

Romans 5:8-9 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Thank the Lord today for the blood of the Lamb!
