Up The Mountain

I just wanted to put up a quick post of a visit to Los Chirquettos (don't know the spelling of that one) last week.  We were able to take up some food, clothing and some toys to some families in need.  The were very appreciative of all that they received.  I just want to thank all who sent some items for these families.

Some baseball gloves along with some clothing.

Levi was ready to go and hand out some food!

We had to drive up another 4 to 5 miles.  Thank the Lord I had 4 wheel drive or else we never would have made it.  We have received a lot of rain over the last 2 months and the road had been washed out.

Those houses in the back ground is the little village we live in.

One of the familes that received some food and clothes.

We were able to give this little girl a doll.  She was so excited by the gift.
My wife and I going through the box of clothes.

This is their home along with their kitchen.

These men were excited to get some hats.

This woman was extremely happy to get a dress that some one had donated.

That little building in the back ground is the bathroom!

This is the little girl who got the doll.

The woman of this home wanted to give Melanie and I a gift.  She brought out a bag of coffee that she had just grounded.

The little girl with Eliana.

Psalms 136:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Hope you all have a wonderful evening and may we be always thankful for what the Lord has done for us!
